BetMGM is one of the leading contenders in the US sports betting and iGaming market, with its recent entry into Ohio marking the operator’s 25th state launch. All of this has been done under the watchful eye of Adam, who played a significant role in the creation of the Entain-MGM Resorts joint venture in 2018 through his previous role as director of corporate development and strategy at the company formerly known as GVC. He put the foundations in place to allow the US operation to flourish, and there is a lot more to come, with BetMGM expected to surpass $1.3bn in revenue during 2022. For this, Adam deserves his second Hot 50 award, having also won the accolade back in 2019 at Ladbrokes Coral, where led a number of defining transactions for the group.
